Underground Waste Collection and Vacuum Waste Collection

Underground Waste Collection

Envac is developing an integrated automated waste and recyclable segregation plant in the Gujarat International Finance & Tec-City (GIFT City).  The city will be comprised of 886 acres to include 112 towers ranging in size from 25 to 60 floors.  The waste system will integrate two waste chutes in each building that will feed into 7 different on-site collection stations.  The system will provide for intelligent separation of organic waste and mixed recyclables.  Envac has endeavored to provide sorting of the recyclables.  This system will be designed to support an approximate “25,000 apartments, 100,000 residents and a working population of 500,000” removing an estimated 400 tons of waste each day.  WMW

Vacuum Waste Collection

Another project Envac is working on is a Vacuum Waste Collection System for the Hainan Cancer Hospital in Haikou City, China.  The system will deal with waste produced by 11,000 staff the the 1,200 bed hospital.  It will incorporate waste collection as well as linen collection throughout the site.  It will deal with an approximate 13 tons of waste through 628 waste inlets each day.    It is expected to reduce wasted space for trash corridors by a 90% reduction in waste collection movements throughout the facility.  The system will not only serve as model of efficiency.  It will bring a much higher level of hygiene to the hospital, which is invaluable for obvious reasons. – WMW
